8. Ducktales
This is what a good licensed game looks like. The classic DuckTales games were fun, challenging and had amazing chiptunes. Yo Disney, how about making another gem like this? Check out the other titles in Capcom’s 10 best Franchises Here! (Thanks Spire for the tip!)

The Wii Fit Plus/Balance Board Bundle will $100, the stand alone game will be $20 dollars. I’d be rather keen on this deal, if the origional bundle wasn’t still 80$ in most places.

Ooh. Shiny. I like the shade of pink they chose. Not too fruity.

This looks mighty sleek. I feel it might clash with the White Wii though. No release date set yet, just “Holiday 2009.” I’d say, sometime before Black Friday.

Really? You’re going to change Damn? It’s not like Admiral Dane said “Holy C****!” or something like that. Ah well.

NYU students, who shell out $50,000 a year for their first rate education, can (really) enroll in Professor Gary Marcus’ is class “Guitar Heroes (and Heroines): Music, Video Games and the Nature of Human Cognition,” the New York Post reports.
“Video games are an understudied area,” said Marcus, a psychology professor. ”People dismiss them unfairly, but ‘Guitar Hero’ is a good tool for teaching and I’m interested in the nature of learning.”
No. Just no. I’m sorry for reading this. I’m sorry for posting it. Who let this happen? I want to know whose name to put on my “Must Pummel” List.

Marvel Disney WHAT IF… Downloadable Games
Owen was actually teasing me earlier with instant messages suggesting new stories for Marvel’s WHAT IF… series of alternative reality comics, but after the first few it struck me as an extremely good idea…and not just from a Disney standpoint. Marvel’s WHAT IF… series would make for an amazing downloadable game franchise. Add in Mickey and friends, and you’ve got pure gold. Here are a few of Owen’s ideas:WHAT IF … Hannah Montana joined The Defenders?
WHAT IF … Howard the Duck and Donald Duck Joined Forces?
WHAT IF … Daredevil was trained by Darkwing Duck instead of Stick? We could do this for hours. Days even.
Any of those ideas sounds like a GOTY in the making. Make it happen Disney! Check out more Marvel/Disney matchups here!
